The shelter, the gateway and the path into the future

Its my father’s birthday today, so here’s a picture dedicated to him. In his own way he provided me all the three things mentioned in the title: A shelter which also doubled up as a launching pad for my ambitions, a gateway which he guarded so that those ambitions weren’t trampled by adversities, and then guided me on a path towards the future so that I could go and make a dent in the universe.
